This little boy was rescued from a storm drain in a local park. Officials believe he was swept into the pipe from a street drain during the heavy rains. A walker at the park heard his cries and contacted park employees who went out and rescued him. He was brought to a park office where a Safe House volunteer works, and so this skinny, flea ridden, stinky boy with the big ears is now in a foster home, exhausted. He got a bath and a good meal and the poor little boy slept the night away. What a relief it must have been for him. He has been named Bo, short for Dumbo because of those big ole ears of his. He will soon get checked out by the vet, neutered, and be ready for a new family. He is very friendly and seems to be okay with other dogs so far.
