This little cutie is a Slow Loris. No doubt just about everyone watching this will want to own one. Right? Well thats one of the very reasons its species is on the decline, that and wanting it for medicines. Mostly they get their teeth pulled as pets which leads to eventual infection and death. They seem passive because they act like that when feeling threatened. They are especially popular or trendy in Japan, particularly among women. The reasons for their popularity, according to the Japan Wildlife Conservation Society, are that theyre easy to keep, they dont cry, theyre small, and just very cute. The problem is we have lost our connection with other beings and instead of treating them as such we see them as things to own and use for our own pleasure. This is otherwise known as dissociation. Until we get back to our connection to life we will continue to enslave other beings and each other and spiral down the toilet of oblivion.
