This little girl arrived at the shelter early one Saturday morning several weeks ago. She was dumped in someones yard and could not walk or see. Her head was swollen to about three times its normal size - the vet thought she was possibly hit on the head or thrown out of a car. She was underweight and dehydrated. X-rays showed no skull fractures but we werent sure what her outcome would be. I carried her around all day like a baby as she just wanted to be held. (Thank you Peppers Paws-Kelly Egloff for the second pic!). She ended up with a huge abscess on her head that had to be drained several times and had temporary blindness due to swelling in her head.
