This little guy came inside accidentally when I brought my ficus cutting in to quickly wire. Had to come home from hospital to do some laundry and dishes so I figured is make use of the short span of time I know seriously with the amount of complete and total boredom a hospital inflicts---id kill myself if I ever got stuck in one longer than three days. I would never live in a nursing home. Boredom is a factor I cannot tolerate and would rather be dead Nurses have no time or interest talking to you. Theyve got too much to do, although the ones at the VA spend a lot more time with their patients. Still I couldnt deal with it. Its like being in prison. So I out the mantis out on the citrus where he seemed to be happy. Think it was fairly young, maybe half grown, because it was pale green. His beady little eyes kept watch on me as I moved him out.
