This little guy is Willy. He was being surrendered to MHS yesterday when one of our volunteers met him. His eye had been scratched by a cat a few months ago and it wasnt healing. He also had fleas, which family members were allergic to. He was scared, nervous and growly. Our volunteer knew his fate if he stayed at MHS. So she contacted us and we agreed he needed us! Unfortunately his eye is in MUCH worse condition than originally thought and cannot be saved. He is having surgery to have it removed tomorrow. This is an expense we werent prepared for. We have been quoted $500+ for surgery. Pre-operative bloodwork cost us another $125. We need help!
