This little lady competed in a ring with all boys mostly all bigger than her and dominated!!! Her form was so clean, sharp, and powerful that she brought home the GOLD! She won her first two sparring matches by a landslide, and lost by two points in her last match to earn her Silver in sparring. To say that this little one hasnt had it easy in life would be a gross understatement, but through TaeKwonDo she has found a way to channel her emotions into something positive. She uses her anger and frustrations in life to make her stronger and wiser. This kid has figured out in 9 years what took me almost 30 years to learn; we focus on the good and learn from the bad. Through all of her struggles, she is HAPPY! I am more proud of her smile than her medals, and I am beyond ecstatic that she beat out all those boys!
