Daniel Pipes, the director of the Middle East Forum, stated that Carson was “Islamists’ choice for the House of Representatives.” There appear to be disturbing facts that back up that statement. “In Indiana, Democratic representative Andre Carson has received almost $34,000 from Islamist sources for his congressional runs since 2008,” the Middle East Forum reported. Those Muslim contributors include CAIR, a group with ties to the Hamas terrorist organization. The American Thinker magazine has documented even deeper connections between Andre Carson and radical Muslims. He has links to the Nation of Islam, an extremist Muslim and black supremacy group. “Andre Carson was raised by his grandmother Julia Carson. A state legislator for 18 years and a congresswoman for a decade, Ms. Carson had a friendly relationship with the hateful Louis Farrakhan throughout Andre’s childhood,” reported the American Thinker. Farrakhan is the leader of the Nation of Islam.
