This made my heart skip a beat i love Jesus and i admit i myself left my first love and been walking in the lie of greasy grace. Today i make my choice to go back to my first love and repent!!... Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. (Revelation 2:4-5 KJV) I often thought this verse meant starting over by going back to the first love, first works in salvation...etc...But this scripture is more clearer it means that we need to go back in making Jesus our first priority, through prayer first of everything!!.... Where we would fall on our knees and just soak in His presence, and tithing giving offering with a cheerful heart, then when 7:30 came around you were the first one there getting up in the morning grabbing your bible, worshipping Him. and that want the want of just being there with Him spending time with Him or waking up in the wee hours of the morning just to be with Him.....Remember therefore from where you have fallen and REPENT!! Repenting is the key to our backslidden state and freedom from greasy grace....And do the first works: or else i will come and remove the candlestick out of His place except you REPENT!!.... We must Repent not Reject if we continue to reject he will remove the candlestick from his place!! We must hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches!
