This mama and her 8 newborn babies came to us after being dumped at the Madera Animal Shelter last week. This little family was quickly heading down death row but thankfully a wonderful foster stepped up and took in the entire little family. Meet the London litter, soon the be available for adoption through Fresno Bully Rescue! Sadly, little families like this one are dropped off at shelters and euthanized daily by the hundreds! PLEASE SPAY & NEUTER! This mama & her babies were lucky, most others are not. If you are even THINKING about having a litter -even just ONE litter, PLEASE think of the hundreds of dogs & puppies that die each day because there simply arent enough good homes out there. Also remember all of the offspring that can be produced by all the dogs in your litter if they are not fixed before going off to homes, and then their offspring, and so on. Numbers can reach into the thousands! Taking on entire litters along with the mama is VERY challenging for us Rescue Organizations. Its a large expense and a huge commitment - only made possible with the support of our volunteers, donors and foster homes. We simply cannot do it very often if sometimes at all!
