This marks my 5 year anniversary with The Beat 94.5! WOW cant believe its already been that long!! I started in radio in my small town of Vernon when I was only 18 years old and The Beat was thEEE ONLY radio station I ever wanted to work at. I stalked the website and announcer bios on the regular. After being told by a big wig Vancouver radio manager you wont get a job in major market Vancouver with the small amount of experience you have I almost didnt EVEN apply for the gig at The Beat!! 5 years later and Im SO thankful I did. NEVER let someone elses limitations determine your future!! Massive thanks to The Beat crew for making my job something I look forward to going to on the daily and to my boss Curtis Maddams for continually giving me the opportunity for growth personally and professionally!
