This may be an old video but the recurring problem with our rental of our shelter, a home for the old, the abandoned and the sick will always be with us. As you know, the animals in the care of Animal Lovers League depend on your generosity and willingness to give for their survival. The largest shelter with over 700 rescued animals and yet the poorest among the animal walfare groups. Where have we gone wrong? Are we spending too much to help an arthritic dog walk again; medical care for the ones deemed incurable but survived under our care; alternative medications to help a failed kidney or liver to function again? Just to name a few! By the 30th of this month of January, we will be served a notice of eviction if we do not settle the rental arrears of $22k. We have no more words to express the plight of our poor doggies and kitties. With love, we brought them out of the frying pan into the fire. You have helped generously in our last appeal. Will you help them again now? Will you continue to help them.. until May 2016!
