This may be just a very old document to some but in fact its very significant today. Its still legal tender, and it declares Scotland as a Sovereign Independent country in perpetuity. Signed, sealed and delivered by Scotlands founding fathers. Just as America has their founding fathers,no different. They have tried, that is Blair for example, to challenge it but without success. Because it supersedes the Treaty of union. There is no court in the land that can touch it, or change it one iota. This is Scotlands Declaration of Independence. This is why, Scotland is legally able to walk right out of this Union at any time and just say, enough is enough. That time is drawing nigh. Increasingly, Scots just want to say, thank you England, it was good while it lasted but its not working now, love you lots but we are really going to have to call it a day sometime soon. Scotland is Independent, has always been independent,since it was written into law all those many years ago and it always will be independent. Since the Treaty, the UDI signed in Arbroath so very long ago. The union on the other hand,is just like a marriage between two independent Nations but due to neglect and a whole range of bullying, one partner is at the planning stage of calling it a day. This is where we are at now.
