This may not make you feel good, but it is a reality. Anyone who has acreage and lives in an area where neighbors have acreage are most likely to see wounded deer wandering around this time of the year at least for a few days until they die a slow and agonizing death. Less than 5% of US citizens hunt yet those that do force the rest of us who love wildlife to see this in our back yards. If this bothers you then get involved to stop the hunters who kill for sport! They try to justify their behavior by saying the deer population is a problem, but studies have shown the deer hunting of primarily male deer is actually making that problem worse as there are sometimes as many as 30 female deer to each male deer. Those males impregnate all the females in the area thereby increasing the deer population even more. Get involved if you love Gods creatures. They were never meant to be killed for sport!
