This message from my friend Helen Smith Last night Keaton, Konnors Guide Dog was sick. This morning he was very unsteady on his feet and then collapsed a few feet from our door when I let him out first thing. We had to lift him into the car to get him quickly to the vets. It turns out he was bleeding internally due to a large tumour in his spleen that had ruptured his spleen. He had emergency surgery carried out immediately to remove his spleen completely. He has survived the procedure but has a 50/50 chance now. We have just been to see him and he was very groggy but peaceful. Both me and Konnor are absolutely devastated. Please would you all say a little prayer for Keaton. Thanks everyone. I have tagged Helen and Konnor so they can see messages of support.
