This message of Gods goodness was sent to us by a single mother tonight that is a member of Single Mom Centra. She has given us permission to share. Hang on tight. God just shows off. Heres her story... Hes an on time God... I had a dental emergency over the weekend, with a whopping $54 in my bank account to last until NEXT Monday. My face was so swollen that my mom asked if I had a toothache before I could even mention it on Sunday. I walked into work on Monday and my boss noticed my face was swollen. When I explained the situation to her, she said no, I had to call that morning and get an appointment ASAP. She said they could give me a portion of my paycheck early to pay for it. I only get paid once a month... ... Its tough being a single mom! If its not in the budget on the 1st, its not likely to get paid, whether it be field trips, sick doc appointments, or a new outfit for my sons chorus performance. (All of those have surprised me this week alone!) Anyhow, not only did they give me a portion of my paycheck early, but my boss explained my financial situation to the supervisor that signs our paychecks and I was informed today that I will be getting an *extra* check this month to reimburse me for work expenses (trips here and there that I do for the office). I dont know how much it will be, but anything is more than I counted on! Me and my mom have prayed over my finances all week and I just felt like I kept getting hit with one thing after another and it seemed to be getting worse by the minute. Now, I not only have enough to cover what I needed... but an extra check on the way. God is faithful. Every single time. He is faithful. This is just one Moms story, but well be sharing more as women send them in... stories of His provision, His grace, His hand. Stories of a God who wants to sweep you off your feet and provide for every need.
