This message was forwarded to us by a concerned fellow horse owner. We do know of another yard burglary in the Kingsclere area recently. Please be vigilant and share with your horsey friends. Dear residents, It has been brought to my attention that there has been some suspicious activity in the area of Ecchinswell today (9th May). At approximately 1130 a suspicious male was seen in a livery yard near a barn, he was wearing clothes not suited to the weather conditions and was not recognised as being local. At around 1630 I was alerted to the news that two horses within the yard have had their manes cut by someone unknown. Please be aware of anyone unusual in the area, strange vehicles or people acting suspiciously around barns, outbuildings and livery yards etc. If you feel something is suspicious please contact local police on 101.
