This message was sent to us by one of our members in Indian River County, if you can please jump in and help this group that are living our Slow Food initiative for Food Education and doing it where it counts with our children. Sat 13 Sept, Glendale Elementary in Vero Beach, 8:30 - 10:30 am Come have some fun, do some gardening with cool people, and make some kids really really happy! Saturday 13 September, 8:30 am - 10:30 am Glendale Elementary School 4940 8th Street, Vero Beach (South), FL 32968 parking entrance is on the north side of 8th, between 43rd and 58th Avenues Schools back in session, so its time for school gardens! Please come help us get the beds at Glendale Elementary back in shape for our young gardeners :~) Its going to be a fun morning. Bring your enthusiasm, gardening gloves, hand tools if you have them (trowels, garden forks) and a water bottle. If you cant join us this Saturday, well be working at other Indian River County schools on both weekdays and weekends - please let us know if youre interested.
