This might be just so much gibberish to some of you, because you dont get that far into the tech side or because you use a different OS, but if I can get this to work, it will solve my problem with GIMP reading brush files only when they are in on C:, because I can make the folder theyre actually in look like its on C: even though it is actually elsewhere; which is happy for me, because I prefer to use C: as much as possible for Windows operating system ONLY, and everything else installed to a different drive... less chance of it cluttering itself out of drive space to work in that way... I used to know how to do this without looking it up, but I never really used it- twas part of the instruction set when I was taking Networking for Windows 2000 while I was between jobs. Not that it helped me get one. I remember more of the stuff about HTML coding that I learned on my own (pretty much) in the meantime than I do about networking. Oh well.
