This might help somebody: Spouses should always come before kids. Never allow your kids to disrupt your marriage. Yes, you should love your kids. Yes, you should train your kids in the bent that they should go. Yes, you should make sure you kids have everything they need to succeed. However, you should never allow you kids to separate what GOD has brought together. Many times mothers who spend nine of the longest months of their lives carrying a child feel obliged to protect their baby regardless of age. This at times even put them against the husband/father. Remember you can raise your children up in the most loving possible way, but eventually they have to leave the home.... (your spouse will always be there). Dont forget to nurture that relationship as well. Those vows you took before GOD and man supersedes every other relationship you will ever have even your kids. Your kids will always reap from the love you share with your spouse, dont allow them to reap from the resentment/anger you used to feel!
