This month in our Fight2BFit classes we will be focusing on core, back, and upper body strength and flexibility! Make as many classes as you can, but remember living a healthy lifestyle is not about just making it to a class a few times per week. Cultivating all aspects of healthy living is our focus: viewing oneself in a positive manner, eating a well balanced diet, staying active in various ways, changing negative thoughts into positive ones, and finding that desire to push oneself to become the greatest one can be. One lesson our school learned at our recent seminar and was reinforced at the Atlanta Open this past weekend, is that we can find happiness, not only in the outcome of a match, but in the journey one takes to get there. In all things, strive to exceed expectations. Press on and seek new knowledge and new challenges in life. Constantly set new goals: short term and long term, realistic and the hard to obtain. The journey that you take to achieve them is what truly matters. That is what will give you happiness. Do not just focus on training your body; focus instead on enhancing your mind and spirit and your body will follow. The Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle. Ossss
