This month it is a good idea to work on a grounding practice. Make an effort to do intentional grounding each day. Set the intention to remember to ground when you need it, by paying closer attention to your own energy. When you feel stressed, anxious, scattered, angry, etc... take a moment to... ☆ pause, breathe, ground ☆ A few ways to ground your energy are: * Grounding Meditations - set aside time to practice. There are many versions. Here is a basic one. - Settle your energy, visualize a golden white light coming down and completely surrounding you, Then, starting at the top of your head, see it fill every bit of your body, moving down slowly, bit by bit - down to your feet, continuing through and into the earth. * at any point throughout the day - inside or outside... stand straight & strong - feet firmly planted... push your feet into the ground. Feel your energy going down, through your feet and into Mother Earth. You could do this sitting in a chair, too. Sit up straight and send your energy down through your feet, into the earth. You can do this without anyone knowing and it only takes a few seconds. * Go outside - simply take in the earths energy... Breathe in the wild air... - sit on the ground (have a picnic lunch) - dig in a garden * Bring the earth inside. Add houseplants to your home and workplace. Lovingly tend to them. * Before you fall asleep, while lying in bed, do a grounding visualization. * Consider wearing, carrying or keeping around your home & workplace, stones with grounding properties. Hematite is excellent and has many other wonderful properties. I wear a hematite necklace when I do sessions. It grounds & absorbs the energy which flows through me. Often it is hot to the touch after multiple sessions. Black Obsidian is another great choice. It also absorbs negative energy. I keep a piece next to my bed. Apache Tears is a more gentle version of Black Obsidian There are other options, as well. Just be mindful of the additional properties thecstones carry, as those may be too much for you. Pick them up and feel their energy. Youll find what feels good to you. You will be drawn to what you need. Express gratitude for the planet. Consider all that it provides for us.
