This month the band released its sixth album since reuniting, “Cool Planet.” It’s the second GBV album this year after February’s “Motivational Jumpsuit.” It’s that kind of output that explains how the band can play shows that are more than 40 songs long. Don’t worry, Monday’s show at Wooly’s won’t be eight hours long. Most Guided By Voices songs are less than two minutes long. “For the most part, they’re short because they get to the point,” guitarist Mitch Mitchell said during a phone interview. “We don’t drag things out. We get to the point, then we make another point. We didn’t spend a lot of time rehashing things. We drove it home, then quit.”
