This morning Coach McHugh, Allysha Davis and Sofia Perry went to BUSH Middle School to test the future Reagan T&F athletes(Lopez will be next week) We tested: Posterior Chain Strength Anterior Chain Strength Power Production Explosive Power(Stretch Shortening Cycle) Imbalances(Functional Movement Screening) Injury Susceptibility(L.E.S.S evaluation) This data will give us a better understanding of the athlete and their specific needs. It will also give us a baseline to compare against in the future. The data is also useful if an athlete were to get injured. We can compare how close they are to being back at 100% by comparing their post injury test results against their baseline test. We are always looking for ways to meet our athletes needs. To help them be the absolute best they can be. We feel this is another step towards accomplishing this goal. After all, they DESERVE our best and nothing less! Big thanks to Coach Weber(Bush T&F Head Coach) for being so willing to accommodate us. She was such a big help in scheduling everything and even developing a spread sheet with all the girls name on it. It made the morning run efficiently. Also, thank you Sofia and Allysha for helping with testing and collecting data.
