This morning, Cong Cesar Sarmiento as Chairman of the House - TopicsExpress

This morning, Cong Cesar Sarmiento as Chairman of the House Transportation Committee, visited the Clark International Airport in Pampanga to check the status of the development projects therein and to consult with the airport officials on concerns which the Committee can immediately address. The Clark International Airport, with its modern amenities and available airline support services, is considered as the most feasible alternative to the old and congested Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). In view of such advantages, Chairman Sarmiento focused on finding ways to effectively market/promote the airport as a viable option for international travel. There are currently around 6 million commuters in Northern Luzon that still travels to NAIA for their international flights. Indeed, there is a need for Clark International Airport to capture and serve this huge passenger volume for economic, efficiency and safety considerations.
