This morning I am thankful for Air1 Radio in particular, and Christian Radio/Christian music more generally-and particularly the really passionate and challenging music that has that edge. Some of you know what I mean. Not just the sweet/nice songs-but the ones that really cut deep or slap you back into your senses or shake you awake out of your doldrums and ruts.. I have been a believer and disciple of Jesus for a very long time-far longer than I have been a church-goer. My heart and soul yearn for closeness with Him and that is *the* most important thing in my life. Something about music touches deep and stirs the spirit when nothing else quite does. Music has always been important to me, and I am sooooo thankful that when I was 12 or 13 and felt that I needed to cut the type of music I was listening to and find something more in tune with my heart-cry, WKTX was there. Jeff Dunn-please know that you and Cless made a HUGE impact on my life and on the lives of so many others! THe heart-strings are touched by music, and they vibrate the soul. Im so thankful for artists who produce meaningful music and stations that play it for people who have not financial ability to buy big collections. This song touched me this morning because it reminded me of a time when *I* spent a week away from You last night-because time away from The Lord, cut off from His presence, is an eternity. It felt like I was suffocating. I never, ever want to break fellowship with Him ever again. Nothing is worth that-nothing.
