This morning I called my Dad to wish him a happy birthday and my Mom Barb Boehnlein answered the phone. Here is the recap of the conversation. Me: Hi Mom, so did you make Dad breakfast in bed today? Mom: And why would I do that? Me: Cause it is his birthday. Keep in mind there is no holding the receiver of the phone Mom: And she yells Bill, did you know it was your birthday? Dad: Yes, I did. Mom: OMG are you kidding me. I had no idea..and then.the giggling continues. Seriously, Bill its your birthday? Me: Good Lord Mom, can I talk to Dad? Me: Hi Dad, Happy Birthday! What are you going to do for your big day today? Dad: Enjoy still being in my 60s and alive, oh and going to Walmart with your Mother. Good heavens these two crack me up! So happy to call these crazies my parents...still in love after all these years! Happy Birthday Dad! I hope you had a blast at Walmart!
