This morning I checked to make sure my 11 year old son was ready for school and found him sitting at his desk reading his Bible. He even asked me if he could take it to school to read when they have free reading time. Talk about melting my heart! While I am proud of the fact that he is a straight A student, his faith is so much more important. So, I just want to encourage any of you today who may be in the thick of mothering a tantrum-throwing toddler and are having trouble seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. There were moments years ago when I wasnt sure I was the right mom for the job of mothering my son. However, every tear I shed, every prayer I prayed, and every long day was worth it, especially in moments like my son and I shared this morning.
