This morning I had lost all faith in humanity. I watched as drama unfolded in front of me and the result was an innocent dog being euthanized because humans had failed him. An owner who rather euthanize a dog then surrender him to a rescue that is willing to give him a second chance at life. A community who turns a blind eye to to even the possibilities of abuse or neglect. A vets Office that refuses to even listen or show enough courtesy and professionalism to make sure all options have been exhausted. I have thought about throwing names out there and bashing those who failed him.. But reality is that he is gone and nothing will be done about it. However.. he did not die in vain because this is one more example of why changes are needed. This is one more reason the county needs to step up, hire a humane Officer and PROTECT THOSE WITHOUT A VOICE !!! BARC is not just going to go away like some wish it would . So .. today I surrounded myself with people who truly care about me.. And the vision we had when BARC was formed. The BARC Rescue family is amazing and they give me the strength to go on. RIP Sam.. Sorry we failed you
