This morning I had the pleasure of undergoing a medical procedure which is near and dear to the hearts of many over the age of 55. Actually it is nearer to a point a bit lower on the anatomy, however the procedure includes what is called conscious sedation. This is a complete misnomer because having had it three times you are not conscious but can respond to commands and questions while your brain is for the most part shut off, which is kinda how a lot of people function on FB. This brings me to a point. After being consciously sedated you are told not to drive, operate heavy machinery, sign legal documents or make financial decisions. I think the prohibitions should include using any social media, email, blogs, posting pictures or video or for that matter going anywhere near a computer. The effects of the sedation will wear off, but the NET is forever......
