This morning I heard a very sad and disturbing story of a student who was a Christian and got hypnotized by some guy who also claimed to be a Christian. This student told her friends afterwards that she sold her soul and the father of this student funny enough is a pastor and this guy who hypnotized the student controlled her and even told her not to answer the phone when her father calls her. � When hell breaks loose in your life who or what are you standing on? When attacks come in your life what or who is your foundation? Do you have a foundation in your life that can sustain you? What makes us so vulnerable is the fact that we take God�s word for granted and we don�t make time in reading it. Paul says in Philippians 3:9-10, that I may be found in Him and that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection. Also, Joshua 1:8 says, Keep this book of law always on your lips, meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. This scripture means read and speak the word of God in your life day and night so that when the devil comes to attack you, you can refer back to the word and say it is written like Jesus did when He rebuked the devil. I�m so troubled friends because we are not looking after the life that God entrusted us with, we have been given everything to fight back the enemy, the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. When the attacks come in your life, what are standing upon? Jesus, in Matthew 16:18, says to Peter: upon this rock I will build my church, what is God building in you? Are you allowing Him to build His church in you? Do not be careless with the life that you have been given at such a price that someone shed His blood. � Lets equip ourselves with the word of God and put on the full armor so that when the enemy comes like a flood the Lord can be able to raise the standard.
