This morning I joined the Central Coast Domestic Violence Committee and members of our local community to take part in the White Ribbon Walk at The Entrance. The White Ribbon Walk is part of the annual 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women campaign, which occurs from 25 November to 10 December every year. I also had the opportunity to speak to the crowd about a speech I delivered earlier this week in Parliament regarding Family Violence.
