This morning I just want to express my heartfelt appreciation to all the old and new friends who showed up at my performance last night despite the rare Los Angeles rainstorm. It meant so much to me and really freed me up to express myself in a way that I havent in a long long time. Many many thanks to Ken Wild and Tom Rizzo for their generosity in the rehearsal process and for playing their asses off! Thanks to Randall Tobin at Theta Sound for having me, for Steve Noonan for pushing me to do this, to my wonderful wife Jeannine for her unwavering love and support always and to Al Jarreau for teaching me so much. Mom, wherever you are, I love you. And thank you God for giving me whatever talents I may have and the opportunities to express. More to come.
