This morning I managed to get Cheriki out of the corral and now they are separated. Now to get the ferrier out and get the feet trimmed and have that out of the way. I always feel a little fear when working with the big animals. Cheriki and Sage trust me but Sage doesnt like the idea so she is a bit stubborn. Theyre not like the chicks who last night when it was time for bed, in the cage, I just called and they came running, got in the cage and I finished the night routine. That is rewarding to know they too trust me. They are so happy to be out scratching and pecking. I worry about predators so Im always checking on them. I dont think the big tomcat is going to be a problem. Yesterday they were scratching a few feet away and he ignored them. Better go out and get their day started.
