This morning I met with Inner East Forum to give an update on general policing issues and an overview of the last week. Im pleased that it was relatively calm at the weekend. Additional police were in the area, which has had an impact - but obviously this is at a cost to other areas of policing. We did arrest a 16 year old youth who was subsequently charged with criminal damage and disorderly behaviour and he will be appearing in court this morning. We also seized over 350 glass bottles and 6 tins of paint. A dedicated team is trawling CCTV footage from the various nights and where identifications are made these will be followed by arrests.
