This morning I told a story in my sermon about how, in seventh grade shop class, my best friend and I (skinny, little kids ourselves) bullied a kid skinnier and smaller than us. We made him write a 500 word essay on why he loved his mom. Then when he turned it in to us the next day, we failed him. I still feel guilty over how we treated that kid. After worship, Michael Gallup pointed out that only a nerd like me would bully someone by making him write an essay. LOL! Im not sure whether to be proud or embarrassed by being such a lousy bully. P.S. The kid presented the essay as evidence against us when the Principal called us in over the incident.
