This morning I was a guest on the Morning Show on 790 KGMI with Dillon Honkoop. You can catch the podcast later today if you have the time. My sincere thanks to Dillon for always encouraging the conversation to occur, and allowing differing opinions and context regarding any issue. He provides a reasonable alternative to what we hear from the supposed experts that continually attack the police. This morning Dillon and I addressed this attached article regarding the situation between the police and the current administration in NYC. This author of this article couldnt be more incorrect if he intentionally tried. I WILL NOT stop providing context, and challenging the distortions in the media (like those in this article) that state, the NYPD should stop frisking innocents without probable cause or even reasonable suspicion, needlessly escalating encounters with civilians, and (especially) killing unarmed people. Keep squeegee men at bay—and leave innocent black and Hispanic men alone. I will NEVER let these anti-police liars inacurately portray the police in NYC... or anywhere else with a broad, bigoted brush. When a Mayor and a President suggests that the Police need to be retrained out of their racism...I will always speak out! When a Mayor states, The way we go about policing has to change, and people need to know black lives, and brown lives matter as much as white lives. I will always speak out against that racism and ignorance. I have NEVER witnessed a police officer ask a dispatcher about the color of the victims skin before they help them, or put themselves in harms way! There will be no detente in New York City between the Police and this revolutionary Mayor who rejects the principles that make this a great nation. I dont just stand on the side of the police regarding this issue...I stand on the side of whats right! The Police are NOT our societal problem...but this Mayor and his circle of influence are!
