This morning I was at the funeral of Maryam Najafian. A 25 year old girl who died in a tragic accident whilst out sledging with family. By all accounts Maryam had achieved a huge amount in her wonderful, all be it very short life. She was loved by everyone who knew her and that was obvious given the amount of people who turned out to pay their respects. The massive chapel was packed full to bursting and the streets were lined with people still in disbelief at what has happened. Makes it hit home just how short life can be at times. Such a sad sad day but what a wonderful tribute to a wonderful girl
