This morning, I was been shown this passage in Romans 5 and my heart is restored again, and filled with joy, love, hope and peace...after the enemy of my soul lucifer played me mind games lastnight, kicked me and tried to destroy my life, once again, not by might, nor by power but by his Amazing grace I am sustained and strong again for the glory of Ebenezar, and my song is, The Devil is a liar, he cant get over me Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. (Romans 5 1-11 NLT) There is so much joy and peace in this passage, so many promises for today and tomorrow. I dont know what this week will bring for you and I but I do know that whatever happens, however hard it gets, We have a Father and a saviour who loves us and we have the gift of the Holy Spirit to see us through every trial and tribulation. We ( You, I, all believers) are loved beyond measure and beyond words!!!! Can we earn it? No. Do we deserve it? No but we can do something to honour this love, this sacrifice, this redemption... we can make a choice to obey his commands today and every day. His Commands?? See this..... One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question: “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” ( Matthew 22: 25-40) Im committing to obedience to Him today and rejoicing in His love for me... are you? Be blessed today and all days and may God who gives comfort and peace beyond all measure guard your hearts and minds and bless you with abundance in all things this week. Amen
