This morning I was confronted by two bucks as I topped up the bird feeders. Their corn was gone... stolen by thirty plus wild turkeys who cleaned out over twenty pounds of corn and every seed they could find on the ground. Off to the farmers co op to buy a couple hundred more pounds of whole corn. Coming home to see half a dozen wood peckers hammering away at the log cabin. Gotta get the peanut butter log out quick. Twenty pounds of corn and five pounds of seed out. Finally can have my morning coffee and do the dishes... Ahhh off grid living...
