This morning I was driving in thinking of my father and I tried to imagine what he felt 58 years ago today. He was opening the tavern for the first time. He had already failed once as a business owner. He had kids and a wife at home. He had borrowed money and once again with greater odds against him he opened a new business. He really believed in himself… It is a lesson in confidence I must learn. I try not to take for granted the hard work that he, Robert and all my siblings and their spouses went through to keep Manuels up running. I am very blessed. If I remember that at times it almost failed, if I remember that it is about serving people before self and if I remember it is fragile and needs to be handled as such; I think we can continue this business. Thank you Dad, Robert and Family; and thanks to all of you for being our customer.. Today we celebrate with wings... $5.00 gets you 12... No To-Go orders… My God continue to bless us all..
