This morning I was pleased to announce a major upgrade for Waterworks and Stewart Roads, after two years of discussions and negotiations with Brisbane City Council. That means less time stuck in traffic and a boost for local businesses. The upgrade will be funded jointly by Brisbane City Council and a re-elected LNP Government. I’ve taken on residents’ feedback and worked hard with Cr Geraldine Knapp - The Gap Ward, Deputy-Mayor Adrian Schrinner and Lord Mayor of Brisbane - Graham Quirk to make this possible.
