This morning I went to HEB after the gym to get some protein bars, there was a little man in his 70s pushing his little grocery cart. In the bottom basket of the small shopping cart he had two rag doll action figures. Surely for his grandkids. I stood there and watched him for a few minutes. I wanted to just go give him a hug. He seemed so happy and content with life. I prayed for him that his family will treasure him and the time they have with him. Those grandkids must bring him much joy. It remained me so much of my dad. Every time before we went to my brothers, he would go searching for the girls favorite toys to take them. They loved their grandkids. I keep thinking back on good times with mom and dad...miss them both.. Hard to believe Saturday is 4 years for mom...
