This morning I went to Stater Bros. on Colton Ave; I had my boyfriend and twin 2 year old grandsons with me. We were carrying the boys through the parking lot towards the store for their safety. A car suddenly backed out as I was directly behind it, I tried to move out of the way as quickly as possible but the car kept coming. The car came to a stop as it hit my leg and I banged on the trunk yelling to stop. As I got around the car the woman in the drivers seat rolled the window down and with her IPhone still to her ear looked out at us as if it was my fault she didnt bother to look behind her or check her mirrors before she began to back out on the phone illegally I was completely shaken by what could have happened to my grandson had she not stopped. Her response to us telling her to get off the phone and pay attention was I am a realtor(she let us know that she was busy on the phone with a client), its okay for me to be on the phone, its my job. No apology and no concern for her actions. When asked her name she was all too proud to introduce herself: Martha Green, I verified her photo on her web sites to assure that it was her before writing this as I have never met her. I dont care who you are or what business you own, your first duty when you get behind the wheel is to put your phone down and pay attention to your surroundings. Ms. Martha Green you should be ashamed of yourself!
