This morning I woke up, put my glasses on and got out of bed. As I stood up, I felt dizzy and everything looked a little foggy. I stumbled down the hallway, went to the front door and opened it to let the dogs out...(I guess here is where I confess that it was me who let the dogs out...woof..woof) ANYWAY, back to the story...I go pour myself a cup of coffee....the foggy feeling seemingly getting worse due to the bright light of the sun shining through my windows and doors....I sit down on the couch and look at the text message that just came in on my iphone and I am having a hard time reading it....the letters are so blurry..I take off my glasses and set them on the couch, next to me.....at this point...I am feeling a lot of mixed emotions...my great-grand-mother went blind as a result of her diabetes and in the back of my mind...I worry about that also happening to me....as I hold the phone about an inch away from my face, I read and then respond to the text message....I sit there for a minute....then I pick up my glasses....WTF??? Now I am laughing.....remembering a scene from the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding where the parents insist that Windex cures EVERYTHING....well...I am here to say...Windex cured my dizzy blindness this morning....I have NO idea what was on my glasses...but seriously....Thank God for Windex! Ah yes....happy Wednesday...a day off starting with a moment of fear and panic and laughter...moments that will no doubt repeat themselves in various scenarios the rest of the day,,,oh who am I kidding...repeating themselves for the rest of my life!!!! LOL! PART 2.... So the dirty glasses I had on were an old pair that I keep on my night stand because I need glasses to find my glasses...My new glasses are TRI-FOCALS...Now that I am wearing the correct prescription, it is AMAZING how well I can see...OMG....one more thing.. PART 3 Jehovahs Witness just this second..came to my door....NOBODY saw that coming...I almost busted out the windex to use it as a repellant...but I didnt want to be rude...HAHAHAAHAHA!!! Isnt IRONY just the funniest damn thing?!!?!?!?!?!
