This morning Ms. Carol and I drove out to a very nice bike path and spent a little over an hour exploring the path and surrounding neighborhoods. We headed back to the house not too worse for wear. We cleaned up and shared lunch and then, in the early afternoon as the tide was going out, I tried my luck kayak fishing in Aripikas waters; same results. No fish were harmed in my efforts. However, many frozen shrimp went to a watery grave. Next time Ill try squid. They say squid flesh is more likely to resist the little marauders the mangled my frozen shrimp. I was able to see them nipping at it until theyd cleaned the hook. Some of the little pests werent much larger than the hook. As I returned to where I launched, I saw several men cleaning what appeared to be about twenty pounds of fresh fish. Of course its quite possible that they had to go more than fifteen miles into gulf waters to find such great fishing outcomes. Ms. Carol checked on local fishing captains rates and discovered it would run us about $250 for the both of us to go out for four hours. I reminded Ms. Carol how much fresh fish you can buy for that kind of money and still maintain your sanity. Love to all...
