This morning Robert fed the back field dogs for me; Winnie and Clifford because I fell yesterday and hurt my knee and ankle and so that we could get started picking earlier. When he got to the gate Winnie met him whining, danced around him and then ran off half way into the field. Robert began to walk to the hay wagon where he feeds them. She ran back to him whining, dancing around him and then back out into the field. This time he began to follow her where she continued into the field and sat down at the pond. As he approached he saw what she was saying.....A new calf was born last night. We own no other dog like her. What a girl!! I am so fortunate to call her my own.
