This morning Scott Patrick (son of ISP Trooper Scott Patrick EOW 12/22/03) led the riders of COPS Cycling 4 Survivors from their overnight stop at the Jeffersonville FOP. Scott led the first mile as the riders headed towards Madison. The ride which takes place each year, circles the State of Indiana making stops along the way to meet with families of fallen officers and read from the ODMP for each of the officers from Indiana. Prior to the ride getting started today, Eric Johnson updated the riders on Supporting Heroes at the Jeffersonville FOP lodge. What a great organization and a wonderful way to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to remember each survivor. The money raised through their efforts is used for the many charities started by survivor families to honor their hero. Please keep these riders in your prayers as they complete a 1000 mile ride this weekend.
