This morning Texarkana, Arkansas Mayor Wayne Smith talked about the new water park and the economic impact the park will have on the area. He also addressed the questions concerning using tax dollars to help a business. Mayor Smith was kind enough to stay for a second segment in which he discussed the search for a new City Manager. He not only listed the names of the candidates who made the final cut, but he also gave us insight into the process of hiring the next City Manager. Peggy Venable, Texas Director for Americans for Prosperity talked about the possibility of a third special session of the Texas Legislature. She gave us an inside look at the battle between the House and Senate concerning the funding of transportation projects around the Lone Star State. On Wednesday’s edition I will talk with Seton Motley, Founder and Director of Less Government.
