This morning You are reminding me that it was You who chose me – not the other way around. This is a profound truth for me – and it fills me with hope. Thank You Jesus that You offer us what I call an “uncommon grace” – especially in times of confusion or despair. There is never a moment when we are unable to accomplish the purposes You have put us on this earth for – anything other than this belief is a trick of the enemy and must be fought against. even though we often buy into the lie that we cannot possibly receive a vision from You – You keep drawing us back to the truth that You share Your vision with Your children – and expect them to respond. Your sovereignty and power surround us – making even the most skeptical among us realize that nothing is impossible for You. My prayer today Lord is that You will increase in Your people – and a deep, new work will be the end result. As You share Your heart with us, I pray we will be sensitive to Your call - and willing to pause and listen – no matter how busy we may be. Many people are just now beginning to “cross over into their own personal Jordan”. Knowing Your timing is always spot on, I pray for a renewed passion and vision to be given to these folks, as they step out in faith. I also ask You to prepare them for the victories that are within their reach. We are to prepare the way for You - trusting that You will soon come and take over. You are going to use those times of testing and pain, to prepare Your people for the great challenges that lie ahead of us. Help us I cry to be unafraid of change – give us the mental capacity to see ourselves as conquerors – not victims. There is nothing helpless about a Christian – in fact, You are always reminding me that we are warriors sent to do battle with Satan so the captives can be set free.
