This morning as I was saying goodbye to each of my babies, I couldnt help but bask for a moment in the awe that is them. To watch something inside of them, some beautiful spark, shine through in their eyes and their smiles, and their little signs of I love you...to watch his smirk as he blows me a kiss in front of all his friends, and to gaze at her golden, bouncing curls in the morning sun as she runs along the fence trying to savor just one more moment with me before we say goodbye. In those moments, I couldnt help but think how lucky I am...that out of all the children in the world, those two are mine. I know every parent feels the same way, but I just had to share it this morning because it was just such a peaceful wave of wow. Lucky and blessed dont even come close to describing it...
